No lifts running, 70% of Mountain will be groomed, Restaurants open, complimentary coco or lemonade at the Cliffhouse, Four Mountain Sports open, sales & demo’s on equipment.

Golden Leaf

The Golden Leaf is one of the most beautiful foot races in the Rockies.  This 13.1 mile half marathon traverses from Snowmass Village to the heart of Aspen on mountain trails and roads at the height of Colorado’s breathtaking fall colors.

The Red Mountain Grill will cater a FREE locally sourced lunch for the first 750 people. Also enjoy a wide array of games and activities for everyone! Miniature golf, bocce ball, frisbee, kickball, football, kite flying, kids activities, and more!

Aspen Mac & Cheese Festival gets under way on restaurant row.

Between Mill and Monarch streets on East Hopkins Avenue. Local restaurants will offer samples of their macaroni-and-cheese concoctions. $5 admission for 13 and older.

Committed to Awesome Events!  The Special Events Department of the City of Aspen, produces more than 7 events a year from the New Year’s Eve Celebration in the core to the Aspen Backcountry Marathon.  These events help enhance the vitality of the town of Aspen, and enrich the quality of life for both locals and visitors. In addition, the Special Event’s Department helps facilitate the permitting process for 3rd parties to bring their events to Aspen, CO.
