The Golden Leaf is one of the most beautiful foot races in the Rockies. This 13.1 mile half marathon traverses from Snowmass Village to the heart of Aspen on mountain trails and roads at the height of Colorado’s breathtaking fall colors.
Customers can support and enjoy local artisans and Colorado grown meats, fruits and veggies every Saturday.
Committed to Awesome Events! The Special Events Department of the City of Aspen, produces more than 7 events a year from the New Year’s Eve Celebration in the core to the Aspen Backcountry Marathon. These events help enhance the vitality of the town of Aspen, and enrich the quality of life for both locals and visitors. In addition, the Special Event’s Department helps facilitate the permitting process for 3rd parties to bring their events to Aspen, CO.
